Eva’s Garden seeks field crew members for the 2017 growing season. These positions are both full- and part-time and seasonal, from April 24-October 27, with flexibility for the right candidate. Field crew members are integral to the pick/pack process at Eva’s Garden, harvesting and processing product for weekly deliveries to Boston chefs, plus local restaurants and wholesalers. In addition, field crew members will assist in all matters of production, including but not limited to: weeding; planting/seeding; mulching; and cleaning/maintenance. Eva’s Garden is a 3-acre, certified organic farm that has supplied Boston and South Coast chefs as well as Whole Foods Markets and other wholesale buyers for over 30 years. The farm is 70 miles south of Boston in coastal Dartmouth MA.
Applicants should be in good physical condition, able to do repetitive manual work outdoors in any weather, and able to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances. Some farm experience is preferred but not required. We are hard-working yet easy-going and expect the same from qualified applicants.
Pay is commensurate with experience, and can increase as skills increase.
