Pumpkinfest 2022 at Volante Farms

After a two-year hiatus, Volante Farms are thrilled to bring back their beloved PumpkinFest fundraiser! As always, all money raised goes directly to our friends at Newton-based Cradles to Crayons!

This year PumpkinFest is on Saturday October 29th in our Greenhouse, rain or shine!

This event is a great way to get into the Halloween Spirit and practice those carving skills before you tackle your at home pumpkins. They do the dirty work and scoop out HUNDREDS of pumpkins so all you need to do is bring your creativity to carve them. After the pumpkins are carved they line them up along the roadside, light them, and invite you to stroll along the sidewalk and find your pumpkin during our annual Pumpkin Stroll. If you can’t make it back that night the jack-o-lanterns should be lit nightly through Halloween- technology and weather permitting.

But wait… there’s more! Volante Farms have planned a full day of fun with performances, autumnal snacks, activities and a silent auction (new this year!) to help us raise as much money as possible for the folks at Cradles to Crayons. Admission for each person is $10 (children under 2 are free).

Also, for the week leading up to PumpkinFest, we will be politely asking for donations at the registers. These donations will be in addition to any admission fees for the event.

Why Cradles to Crayons?

This local nonprofit distributes essentials to struggling kids and their families. Cradles to Crayons needs our help more than ever since the pandemic has placed a higher demand on the services they provide.
