Small Engine Repair & Maintenance
February 11 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
FreeIn these two, five-hour training days, participants will learn the various parts of 2 stroke and 4 stroke engines and how they function. Folks will come away with a better understanding of how to prevent common issues with their small engines, as well as basic diagnostic knowledge. This class is ideal for folks who have operated small engines and would like to learn the mechanics of their equipment. This two-day course is particularly built for those who have one or more of their two or four-stroke engines that they would like to bring to class to work on.
9:00-3:00 – Day 1: We will use tools to dismantle and reassemble old 4 stroke engines.
9:00-3:00 – Day 2: Will largely be spent doing maintenance and/or diagnostics on your own engines, with an instructor (and tools!) present for questions and support.
This course required registration and has limited space. Please sign-up & notify us at youngfarmernetwork@gmail.com if you can no longer attend. Priority will be given to folks that attend both days.
A big thanks to URI Extensions for giving us a warm space to do this work!
