The Attleboro Farmers Market started back in 2011
Any major changes since then? As of January 1st, 2026, the market got all new board members. The previous board was going to dissolve the market, but community members stepped up to continue it.
What are some values that make your market stand out? We pride ourselves on being vendor friendly. For instance, vendors are able to keep their vehicle at their stall for ease of setup and breakdown, whereas at many other markets they need to repark.
Are you seeking more vendors? What do vendors need to know before they apply?
We are seeking more produce vendors. Vendor applications open in February. Vendors can choose specific dates they participate in or sign up for the whole season.
How long is the market season? The market runs for 18 weeks. Usually from mid-June to the end of October.
What kinds of vendors do you have? Everything from honey and maple syrup to prepared foods such as empanadas, tacos, Indonesian food, flavored lemonade, homemade peanut butter, to artisan crocheted goods and woodworking, and of course vegetables. Vendors in attendance at the market are announced on our Facebook page weekly. We have about 60 vendors in total.
Is there anything you would like market customers to know? The market accepts SNAP benefits.
