Market Garden Budget @ Natick Community Farm in Natick, Wed Oct 24, 4:00-6:00pm

Bring your pencils, calculators, relevant farm records etc. and we will explore the economics of the market garden through this participatory workshop.  The goal is for you to leave with a working draft budget for your next season or your next operation. We often begin the exercise by writing down the net revenue you would like to earn from the garden in question, so it might help to think about that ahead of time. All levels of experience are encouraged to attend – it really works best with a good mix of both new and experienced farmers.  As usual, we will pass the hat to raise some bucks for the use of Natick Organic Community Farm’s cozy space.

We can stick around for a beer beside the wood stove afterwards, so bring a snack or some refreshments.
