Looking for a fun, easy, and compact way to recycle your fruit and vegetable waste at home? Start a worm composting bin!
Join Friends of Holly Hill Farm Educator and worm-composting guru Janice McPhillips, alongside guest vermicomposters Astrid Peisch, President of the Community Garden Club in Cohasset, and Christine Becker, author of Staying Down-to Earth: A Guide to Vermicomposting in the Spring 2023 issue of Edible Southeastern Massachusetts, to learn about red wiggler worms, the hardest working recyclers anyone has ever met.
This workshop will be hands-on and fun and every participant or family group can go home with a worm bin filled with bedding and a starter supply of red wiggler worms!
