Calling all farmland owners & seekers! Join us, Land for Good, and other service providers to discuss succession planning, land sale & leasing, and determining which transfer option suits your needs. Hear from farmers & landowners who’ve been through it before.
The day will begin with a session for land seekers in the morning, from 9 a.m. until noon. This conversation will be all about talking through best practices and approaches for finding, owning and maintaining land for first-time owners. In the afternoon, we will hold a session for landowners, to discuss succession planning, finding suitable matches, keeping land protected and more. Lunch will be catered between these sessions, and is open to anyone looking to join and network with fellow farmers!
This is an in-person event and we intend to record the workshop sessions. Registration is now closed but the recordings will be made publicly available. The event is at Oakes Ames Memorial Hall in North Easton, easily accessible from Routes 24 and 138. We’ll follow up the day with a catered dinner and our annual meeting. Come for some or all of this jam-packed day! We look forward to seeing you there!
