Located in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, the Dartmouth Grange Kitchen is a certified workspace for food preparation, production, and storage for light small-scale food businesses such as artisan food producers. We are seeking a motivated individual to manage the day-to-day operations of the Grange Kitchen.
Responsibilities include financial and user record keeping, facility promotion, scheduling, fee collection, user selection, technical assistance in product development, referrals for assistance for product development, orientation and training.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
Perform administrative duties as required for running the Kitchen and its events and activities.
Respond to email and phone inquiries from Grange Kitchen users and potential users.
Conduct tours for potential users.
Have familiarity with Town of Dartmouth and Massachusetts regulations of products produced in the Kitchen.
Be able to develop protocols for and comply with all local and state sanitation regulations and safety standards.
Create a schedule for and manage kitchen equipment and systems maintenance and certification procedures (e.g. fire safety, hood maintenance, food storage, etc.), liaising with all necessary authorities.
Post and keep up-to-date all required notices and regulations. Promote the Grange Kitchen through advertising and other means. Complete grant applications, their requirements and reports. Skills:
