Welcome to Member Monday, SEMAP’s series spotlighting our many incredible member businesses across the southeastern Massachusetts food system. From farmers and fishers to grocers, brewers, value-added producers and more, there are so many great people working to make our agricultural system strong, and SEMAP is proud to support each of them and have them join our partnership.
This week, we’re taking you off of the farm and into the kitchen with a spotlight on our friends at Cranberry Vine Catering!
Based in Pembroke, Cranberry Vine Catering has built their business on providing top-tier service and high quality food. With a deeply experienced staff, Cranberry Vine has the expertise, skills and drive to make sure your event is catered to your exact taste. “We take pride in our passion for what we do, our attention to detail and the quality of the food we prepare over 40 years in the business,” says Kathryn Hackett, owner.
These relationships extend not just their customers, but to the many local farms they work with as well. Cranberry Vine sources from a number of farms in their area, including Bogside Acres, Plympton Poultry, and Cretinon’s Farm Stand. “We are proud to work with local farms and dairies,” says Hackett. These partnerships allow them to provide “the finest foods that are comprised of the freshest ingredients, while also crafting an artistic presentation that best suits your event.” Sourcing from local farms not only supports our farmers, but brings more delicious and nutritious food to your plate!
Ultimately, they want to provide a valuable experience from beginning-to-end, from first consultations right up to the last bite of dessert. “We love what we do. Above all, we are caterers who are all about you, our clients,” Hackett explains, “from consulting to discovering your dream event to your menu and presentation design to accommodating you and your guests and realizing your vision through meticulous attention to even the most minor details.”
Thank you to Kathryn, Mike, and everyone for all of your work, both in preparing amazing meals and supporting our local farms and food economy! If you’re hosting an event and need someone to plan your menu, make sure to give Cranberry Vine a call, and let them know you found them through SEMAP!
