Fencing Workshop and Pasture Walk

The Livestock Institute of Southern New England (TLI) & the New England Grazing Network are hosting a hands-on Fencing Workshop & Pasture Walk Saturday Sept. 11th starting at 9am. This event is in Plainfield CT and is $10 for TLI members ($20 nonmembers). Topics will range from fencing types and voltages relative to animal, to corner braces and grounding rods. We will also walk the farm’s fencing and will identify areas needing maintenance and demonstrate those repairs and tune-ups. There will be hands-on activities and ample opportunities for questions. The event is suitable for beginners in the planning stages as well as seasoned farmers.

Following the workshop, a late lunch will be provided (included with registration) at approximately 2PM.
