Freed Seed Federation at Farm and Coast

Join Farm & Coast Market and Bill Braun of Ivory Silo Farm and The Freed Seed Federation for a free evening workshop on February 23 at 6 p.m. The event will be held at Farm & Coast, with registration open at the front desk.
Bill is a farmer and seed keeper at Ivory Silo Farm in Westport. He is also a co-founder and executive director of Freed Seed Federation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to the preservation, adaptation, and diversification of bioregional seed for the commons.
Bill will provide an overview of the state of seed, why it matters, and how this informs the work of Freed Seed Federation – both within the Northeast and as part of a worldwide mosaic of individuals and organizations focused on seed stewardship and seed sovereignty.
