Locating Funds to Mitigate Risk on the Farm

In this workshop Candice Huber (Northeast SARE) will share about crop insurance and what kind might be appropriate for your scale and type of operation. We will also highlight the Beginning Farmer and Rancher Initiative, which can help you utilize the USDA’s many services and programs. Lastly, we will discuss SARE’s research grants which you can utilize to implement innovative practices on your farm. We will close with a Q&A to give you the chance to ask specific questions.
