Join us for our Twilight Grower Series at Allandale Farm in Brookline! Farmer Mike will walk us through the diversified farm, talk about their market outlets, and more. Apolo Cátala, farmer at nearby urban farm OASIS on Ballou will co-lead this workshop and talk about his more condensed operation in Dorchester. Stop by to exchange skills & tips on farming in tight spaces and marketing to many types of customers. Representatives from American Farmland Trust and UMass Extension will be present to share about their programming & resources for urban producers. Following a farm tour, we’ll connect with each other over great conversations and light refreshments.
This event is FREE. All are welcome. Commercial farmers are especially invited. Registration is helpful but walk-ins are welcome. Free childcare is available upon request and a licensed mental health counselor will be available to talk through farm stressors with anyone who may be interested. We hope to see you there!
