You are invited to our annual event designed to connect local food producers with buyers for RI's preK-12 schools and colleges.
Join us on January 22, 2025, from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Farm Fresh Rhode Island for an afternoon of networking, learning, and building purchasing relationships.
This free event is open to all farmers, fishers, local food producers, foodservice and business managers interested in expanding their connection to local food and local school markets. If you are ready to buy or sell local food for educational settings this event is for you!
What to expect:
Learning: Innovative projects and programs, tips for selling and buying local food in engaging sessions.
Sharing: Share your barriers and opportunities with other producers and buyers and problem solve together.
1 on 1 Networking: Share your farm or business directly to school and college buyers in coordinated networking sessions.

Networking Session Information:
During the Local Food in Schools Procurement Event, RI Commerce & Supply RI will be hosting a special hour of face-to face networking to connect local farmers, suppliers, and distributors with schools, colleges, and other buyers.
Reserve your spot by January 15th for the network session and to be included in the partner info list.
