Come join us August 21, 12-1pm for a presentation by Kidder V Gowen, co-owner & operator of Aquidneck Island, RI’s Hawk & Handsaw Farm, on the current state of the flax and linen industry in North America.

RSVP

Kidder’s talk is based on 8 years of hands on experience growing, researching, and connecting with industry leaders specifically on flax for fiber as well as its abundant co-products. We will take a look into the current work and offerings conducted by Hawk & Handsaw Farm and their grant partners with some brief history and facts about flax, its uses and also incredible potential. Also in discussion will be the roll of other flax partners (growers, producers, and consumers) nationally and globally.

Join us to learn about this extraordinary, sustainable, bast fiber and where you might fit into the exciting flax movement!
