This educational event will provide participants with a behind-the-scenes look at the region’s only USDA-inspected slaughter and processing facility offering certified organic and Animal Welfare Approved processing services. Attendees will participate in a guided facility tour, learn about meat processing operations, and take part in an inspection and examination of carcass differences resulting from various livestock feeding programs.
