Your voice matters! The DEM Division of Fish & Wildlife (DFW) is hosting an informal public workshop to discuss proposed regulation changes for:
- 2026-27 Freshwater Fishing Season (250-RICR-60-00-10)
- 2026-27 & 2027-28 Hunting and Trapping Regulations (250-RICR-60-09)
- Updates to Wildlife Rehabilitation (250-RICR-60-00-01)
- Updates to Importation and Possession of Wild Animals (250-RICR-40-05-03)
- Updates to Rules and Regulations of Furbearing animals (250-RICR-60-00-13)
A limited number of printed copies will be available at the workshop, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own copies. This public workshop will not be recorded, and no written testimony will be taken.
The official public hearing on the proposed regulations will be held in May, where formal testimony can be submitted.
