Sakonnet Plant Fair Flyer
The Sakonnet Plant Fair is held annually the first Saturday in May and brings in specialty and boutique growers from Vermont to Virginia to our beautiful hamlet of Little Compton for a community growing event that celebrates the best of gardens, spring, and local vibes! While many of the growers, writers, and shoppers that attend are well known, we also have spaces for local farmers and plant enthusiasts to stand alongside their colleagues and share in the excitement of a Spring Fair. The event is held rain or shine and brings literally thousands of both serious and casual plant enthusiasts to the Town Common! We always have great food, live music, and plenty of coffee to boost morale for the (probably long) walk back to your car with all your new plants! (bring a wagon!)

Every vendor donates a small portion of their proceeds to the Brownell House/LCVIS which helps us maintain the historic house and provides funds for our community support and service activities for the rest of the year.

The annual save the date announcement is published in late January on Instagram and Facebook.

This year’s target date is May 2, 2026. More details in February.
