Growing Together: CARAT Insights + Partner Impacts Across Southeastern MA

When: Thursday, September 24, 2026, 6:30–8:00 p.m.
Where: Online/Virtual

Each year, the Marion Institute’s Southcoast Food Policy Council brings together community members, food-system partners, farmers, fishers, and local leaders to learn, connect, and celebrate the work strengthening food access and resilience across our region.

This year’s virtual Food Summit, Growing Together: CARAT Insights + Partner Impacts Across Southeastern MA, will focus on elevating amazing food system work that we have uncovered during our Community & Agriculture Resilience Audit Tool (CARAT) assessments from the six Southeastern MA Counties: Bristol, Barnstable, Plymouth, Norfolk, Dukes, and Nantucket. We will present details of the CARAT process, a sneak preview of some of the preliminary results from each of the counties, and a panel discussion with community organizations making an impact building programs focused on:

  • Dock to School
  • Supporting New Farmers

Join us to explore how community knowledge, local data, and on-the-ground innovation can help build a stronger, more resilient, and more connected regional food system.
