Join us at AR Plante Materials & Earthworks in West Bridgewater for a practical workshop on composting for farms.
Hear from experts from MDAR, MassDEP, NOFA-MA and AR Plante about how to build and manage compost, understand temperature and moisture, navigate regulations, support soil health, and get better results from the compost you use on your farm.
We’ll also tour AR Plante’s composting operation and look at what farmers can learn from composting at a larger scale, including which practices translate well to the farm and which need to be adapted.
Whether you are already composting or just getting started, this workshop is designed to give you practical information, help you avoid common mistakes, and make more confident decisions about compost on your farm.
