Eco-Herbal Medicine: Local Medicinals and Climate Change, a “Walk & Talk” with Herbalist Brendan Kelly

Join Brendan Kelly, herbalist and author of “The Yin and Yang of Climate Crisis,” as he leads an educational foraging excursion for common eco-medicinal herbs along the picturesque trails of the Slocum’s River Reserve. As the group discovers local medicinal plants, Brendan will discuss climate change’s effect on these healing herbs as well as the importance of re-localizing and naturalizing the practice of medicine. Attendees will receive a detailed reference handout for personal use.
