Make it with Maple! (edible South Shore & South Coast)
April 23, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Free
The sap has run and been boiled down into that sweet, golden syrup that you typically pour on pancakes. But there’s more to maple than breakfast. We’ll talk about how syrup is made (for those who haven’t done it before) and what the various grades mean. Then we’ll make a few things that will (hopefully) satisfy your sweet tooth from morning to night.
We’ll be making the following with real maple syrup: granola, salad dressing, dessert, and perhaps a beverage to wash it all down. Ohh–and a taste test of course.
(We’re still testing our recipes, so this is subject to change.)
