No-Till Hand-Scale Farming Workshop

Farmers are invited to Gaining Ground to learn more about the reciprocal, regenerative practices they use to grow food for hunger relief. Presented by Farm Manager Anna Kelchlin and Co-Assistant Farm Managers Kari Bender and Chrissie Edgeworth.
Topics will include hand-scale bed prep, soil fertility, cover cropping, mulching, and season extension. We’ll also demonstrate the broadfork, greens harvester, and tilther.
WHEN – 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2023
WHERE – Gaining Ground at 341 Virginia Rd., Concord, MA 01742
PARKING – Please park near our sugar shack or in the Thoreau parking lot behind the white house. Then walk through the fence gate and down the farm road to the barn. We will meet at the pavilion.
