SNAP Training for Farm Employees

Does your farm stand or farmers’ market accept SNAP? Make sure your farm stand and farmers’ market staff are ready to accept SNAP this summer by having them attend this SNAP employee training.

Employees will learn SNAP basics including what EBT cards look like, what items are SNAP eligible, and how to run a SNAP transaction. Attendees will come away knowing how SNAP works and how to successfully and legally run a transaction on Conduent and TotilPay machines.

This training will also cover the SNAP protocols and rules that the USDA requires businesses to cover with their employees every year.

This training is for employees who will be processing SNAP transactions. Open to all staff of farm businesses that accept SNAP.

* One registration must be filled out per employee. To fill this out per attendee, after you submit this survey, click the “Fill Again” button to register other attendees.

* If you are an employer filling out registration for multiple attendees, you can also fill this out once for one employee and then email Zoey at zoey@buylocalfood.org with the names and emails of the rest of the employees you’d like to register.
