STOCKSCH 266 -Managing the Small Farm Enterprise – 3 credits

This course is designed for students who foresee starting a farming operation in the future or who currently own/manage/work on one. The complexity of whole farm planning is covered in the course through agricultural business planning, organizational design, decision making, leadership and management (employees, systems and record keeping).

>All online classes cost $472/credit and contribute to either the UMass 15-credit Certificate in Sustainable Food and Farming or the fully online Associate of Science degree.  Credits may also transfer from UMass to other colleges and universities.
