Join the Crow Farm family! We are a 100+ year old family run farm located in Sandwich MA. We sell fruit and vegetables through our 60 member CSA program and our onsite farm-stand.
Position: Field workers
Qualifications:
– Responsible – Good decision maker – Punctual w/ reliable transportation and housing – Enjoys being outside – Works well with others – Listens to direction – Takes pride in work – Organized w/ attention to detail – Can lift 50 lbs – Ability to do repetitive work that requires crouching, bending, and kneeling – Willingness to work in all types of weather conditions – Ability to work efficiently independently and cooperatively as a member of a small team – Prior farm experience not required; eagerness to learn a necessity – Has positive attitude, good sense of humor, and a strong work ethic
Responsibilities:
– Work with farm team on field and greenhouse tasks including: watering, seeding, transplanting, mulching, hand weeding, hoeing, and harvesting, washing and packaging post-harvest produce.
Hours, Duration, Pay: – 30-40 hrs/week – Hourly rate commensurate with experience – Beginning of May 2018-Mid October 2018 – Some flexibility with start and end dates to be determined at interview
