Eva’s Garden, located in beautiful South Dartmouth, MA, is looking to fill out its crew for the 2017 season. We are currently in search of a Pick/Pack Leader and one more field crew member.
We are a 2+ acre organic certified farm growing salad greens, herbs, microgreens, and wildcrafted products for local restaurants. Our focus is to grow the highest quality products in the most sustainable manners available to us. Eva’s has supplied Boston and South Coast chefs for over 30 years.
The Pick/Pack Leader will be responsible for overseeing the harvest and packing portion of our operation. Applicants should have at least one year experience farming, be organized, and possess good communication skills. Pick/Pack Leader will also be play a large role in our microgreen production – completing weekly sowings and harvesting. It is a good opportunity to for someone to add a valuable skill-set to their arsenal of farming knowledge. Pay is commensurate with experience. Possibility for year round work for the right applicant.
The Field Crew position involves working closely with others to weed, plant, harvest, and execute the year’s production plan. You will learn how to care for and grow over 40 herbs, to produce salad mixes year round, and to identify and wildcraft native plants. It is a great opportunity for folks looking to get into growing or to diversify their knowledge base. No experience required- just a good attitude. Pay starts at $11/hr, 40/hrs a week.
