FARMERS MARKET & SNAP OUTREACH COORDINATOR 2018 Season
Groundwork Southcoast is seeking a Farmers Market, and SNAP Outreach Coordinator for F3 . F3 is a scattered site project for GWSC. F3’s primary urban farm site in New Bedford and the Farmers Market is in Fall River. The coordinator will run the F3 market in Fall River which runs on Tuesdays for 8 weeks beginning 7/8/18.  This is a new market and requires a lot of community outreach, out in the Flint Neighborhood visiting residents, businesses and nonprofits with a focus on reaching SNAP recipients. A key piece of this role will be also marketing the F3 farmers market through Facebook, the website, press releases, print media, and word of mouth

GREEN TEAM MANAGER 2018 Season
Groundwork Southcoast is seeking a Manager of Green Team for the summer of 2018 to lead and deliver top quality social justice, environmental and public health focused youth educational programming and help integrate youth into GWSC’s community activities, projects, and events.  The Manager of Green Team for the summer of 2018 will manage all programming, which are youth employment programs for Fall River and New Bedford for in-school, high school aged youth that incorporate environmental, public health, outdoor experiential education, trail building and maintenance, urban agriculture, stewardship, leadership skills, and job training.

GREEN TEAM Leader 2018 Season
Groundwork Southcoast is seeking individuals with experience in youth development to be responsible for the daily management and supervision of our Green Team Summer 2018 program crews.  The Green Team Summer program is a 6-week part-time job and leadership opportunity for 15-20 high school students in Fall River and New Bedford to be an integral part of urban agriculture, environmentalism, stewardship, and community engagement initiatives. One Team Leader is paired with a group of 5-8 Green Team members to concentrate on one of the focus areas described below.
So Fresh: F3 urban farm care and harvesting, and farmers market work; light to medium Acushnet Ave stewardship
So Green: trail and walking school bus route maintenance, invasive species removal, of Walter C. Mathieu Trail; orchards stewardship and support of a school garden near the orchards
