The New England Alpaca Fiber Pool (NEAFP), located in Fall River, MA – is the largest alpaca fiber processor in the United States. As an agricultural service provider with a focus on natural fiber based U.S. textiles, we are looking to add a dynamic member to our team to help us grow and serve our alpaca farm customer base across the country. This position is for a Customer Support / Administrative Assistant whose primary role will be to provide great customer support while assisting in the day to day business activities associated with receiving, processing, and shipping orders.

Responsibilities will include:
Providing Customer Support across: Phone, Chat, Email, & Social Media
Taking Orders over the Phone/In Person, Entering into Online System
Order Processing, Picking, & Shipping
Generating content and managing engagement on Social Media
General Data Entry & other Administrative Tasks
Scheduling Appointments, Giving Tours
Excellent Verbal & Written Communication Skills whether it’s over the phone, in person, through email, or online chat/social media.
Proficient in Computer & Online Technology + Social Media (Email, Web, Spreadsheets, Word Processing etc.)
Quick Learner, Can Do Positive Attitude, with strong Problem Solving Skills
Self Starter, Attention to Detail, Organized, & Ability to Multitask
Problem Solver, Satisfaction from helping customers
Professional, reliable, dependable
College Degree preferred but not required
Bonus Skills (Will Train right Candidate): Customer Support, E-Commerce, Order Processing & Fulfillment, managing Business Social Media, Photography, Blogging/Writing, General Interest in Agriculture and/or Textile Industry
Compensation: $14 to $16 per hour to start. Rate is based on education, previous experience, and the ability to perform a variety of responsibilities. Benefits include Vacation/Sick Pay & Health Insurance available after introductory employment period.
Schedule: 40 hours per week – Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm. Part Time/Mother’s Hours may be available to the right candidate.
