We’re looking to hire good folks to join us this winter as we wrap up 2018 and get 2019 rolling. Strong Preference will go to applicants hoping to farm with us for the entire 2019 season and beyond.
We have four 30′ x 96′ high tunnels that keep us busy straight through the winter harvesting and marketing fresh greens to go along with what we’ve put in storage during 2018, so year-round work is available.
Full time and part time positions available, 2-5 days a week, 8 hours per day of fieldwork, harvest and market prep, with the possibility of farmers market sales.
Skinny Dip Farm is a diverse, 5 acre certified organic vegetable and flower farm located in South Westport, MA and Little Compton, RI. We are looking for help doing a wide range of fieldwork including hoeing, hand weeding, harvest, planting, washing produce, and selling at farmers markets. Applicants must be capable of lifting 50 lbs, tolerant of working outside in all types of weather, and enthusiastic about working alone and with other people doing work that is often repetitive. Some farming experience is preferred, as is familiarity with functioning in the cold (largely a matter of wardrobe). Reliable transportation to Westport *and* Little Compton required.
Pay ranges from $12-14/ hour, potentially more for experienced applicants, plus lots of seasonal, organic produce. No housing provided.
