Anawan Farm Hiring Multiple Positions

Anawan Farm is in its fourth year & growing. We will be certified organic Spring 2019. Our farm is placing emphasis on developing community through farming via experiences, workshops and events. We have a small CSA of 40 shares and a tented farm stand on Route 118 where we offer flower shares as well as bouquets for all types of events and special occasions. Flowers are sold at two markets per week. Our farm is an LGBTQA friendly farm. We work hard but we greatly value relationships created by owning & operating a local farm.

An Update from the BCC Sustainable Agriculture Program

The sustainable agriculture program at Bristol Community College has a new look and a new program coordinator. Professor Kimberly Amaral Newton has taken up the position of program coordinator after the long-time coordinator, Jim Corven, retired last August. Since taking on the program, Prof. Newton has secured a $15,000 grant from the Koppelman family to help refurbish and greatly expand the growing capacity of the college, including constructing a series of modular greenhouses to extend the growing period into the school year.
