ATTENTION FARMERS
The Brockton Downtown Farmers Market is considering some changes for this coming year.
Proposed Location: Brockton Area Transit Transportation Center – 10 Commercial Street
Proposed Day: Wednesday or Thursday
Proposed Time: 4 pm to 7 pm
The highly visible proposed location is on a two-way street with over 13,000 vehicles passing on a typical day. The BAT Center serves both the regional bus network and MBTA Commuter Rail. MBTA data shows that over 280 people arrive by train in Brockton between the hours of 4 and 7 pm. The BAT Center will offer free parking for both vendors and customers, and is considering running a shuttle from local senior housing developments.
