Gilded Tomato™ Company – TEAM LEADER
We are a wood-fired artisan mobile catering company recently featured in RI Monthly Magazine (Nov. 2016) and The Rhode Show. We are looking for fire-master/chef who can lead our crew, many of whom are JWU Student Chefs.
Gilded Tomato Company is a “farm-to-table” operation, located in Rehoboth, MA with our commissary at Hope and Main, Warren RI.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, sourcing and prepping, stoking and managing fires (we will train you as a fire master), overseeing staff and budget, implementing a high degree of food safety practices, driving the van /copper ovens to location, cooking at catering site, and making sure our events run smoothly.
Our season runs from May through beginning of November. A commitment is required for this time frame, and candidate must be available Thursdays through Sunday. You must have SERVSAFE MANAGER CERTIFICATION, excellent driving record, clean back-ground check.
