2017 Part-time Field Crew:
We are looking for a part-time employee to work June, July and August Monday-Friday 7AM-12PM. No previous experience required but experience is welcome. Individual must be of sound health, have access to reliable transportation, able to lift 50 lbs repetitively, hold a sense of humor and work in all weather conditions. Pay starts at minimum wage, $11 per hour. No housing is available at this time. Part time workers also receive a CSA share during their time working (June thru August). 2017 Work Share (2-4 openings)
Heart Beets Farm work shares are the backbone of our harvest crews. They typically work Mondays 7-12 or Fridays 7-12 for the CSA harvest, during the 21 week summer CSA season. In exchange for consistent availability work shares receive a Standard CSA share for the entire summer season. 10 hours are required before the start of the summer CSA to acquaint new work shares with the farm. Reliability is the key to this.
